As per the recent resolution of GBC, ISKCON Juhu Management jointly with ISKCON Mira Road celebrated the world Holy Name day on 30th Sept. 2007.

Publicity:
1. The event was widely publicized through hoardings in various streets
of Mumbai
2. 5000 pamphlets were distributed in various areas
3. Posters were displayed at various places in the both the temples

Major events were as follows: -

1. 12hr. Kirtan - 9.00 am to 9.00 pm in the temple room

2. Special Srimad Bhagavatam class in the morning on "Importance of the
Holy Name" by HH Gopal Krishna Goswami Maharaj.

3. Special Life-Member class in the afternoon on "Importance of the
Holy Name" by HG Tamal Krishna Prabhu

4. Special Congregation class (Priti Vardhanam Program) class in the
afternoon on "Importance of the Holy Name" by HH Gopal Krishna Goswami Maharaj.

5. Nagar Sankirtan from ISKCON Juhu to new Bhaktivedanta School Ground
at Lokhandwala Area
a. The Procession lasted for more than 2 Hrs. and all the devotees
participated enthusiastically in Kirtan led by HH Gopal Krishna Goswami Maharaj, HG Bhima Prabhu, HG Suradas, HG Asim Krishna Prabhu and other senior devotees
b. More than 1000 devotees from ISKCON Juhu and ISKCON Mira Road
participated.
c. Around 5000 packets of prasadam were distributed on the rout.
d. More than 100 books of Srila Prabhupada Books were distributed.

6. The Harinam Culminated in the Bhaktivedanta School grounds where
devotees organized nice pandal program.
a. Inspiring speeches by HH Gopal Krishna Maharaj and HG Bhima Prabhu
b. Very nice drama by ISKCON Mira Road on "Namacharya Srila Haridas
Thakur"
c. Feast Prasadam Distribution to more than 1000 devotees
